nice to meet you!
Here is a little about me, what I do, and why I love doing it.
hey there, i'm amy!Graphic Designer + Creative Partner, with over 20 years experience. I am passionate about helping mission-driven organizations uplift their brand and communications thru design.
As a solo business owner, I handle everything from the initial ideas to the final product – ensuring each project gets my full attention, creativity, and care. My mission is simple: develop creative solutions, through purposeful design. When you work with me, you're getting more than a designer – you're getting a creative partner who's fully invested in helping support you every step of the way. On a personal note, I’m inspired by nature, creativity, cozy cafés, and meaningful connections. Life at home with my husband, two children, and our loveable pups keeps me grounded and grateful every day. Thank you for stopping by! I'd love to connect and explore how we can work together. |
There’s something about rust that stops me in my tracks – the colors, the texture, the perfectly imperfectness. I’m drawn to old things: faded signs, dented tractors, barns with leaning walls and peeling paint. They’re imperfect, but full of story and character.
To me, those weathered details are a reminder that beauty isn’t always polished – it’s layered, lived-in, and deeply human. That’s the kind of creative work I strive for: intentional, textured, and rooted in meaning. Whether I’m designing a brand identity or shaping a campaign, I’m always looking for that richness – the thing that tells a story beneath the surface.
The hexagon represents the six steps of my creative process – Listen, Discover, Define, Create, Refine, and Deliver. While it is a simple shape, it holds a lot of meaning to me. I see it as a loose guide, with plenty of space for creativity and collaboration. To me, design isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about intention.
My ideal creative space is quiet, with low light, and ambient music playing in the background. Some of my favorite Spotify playlists are: Dreamy Forest Music, Breathe, and Peaceful Retreat. It helps me stay focused and in the flow – ya know, like I’m tucked away in a cabin somewhere with nothing but the project in front of me and a warm mug nearby (coffee or tea). It creates space for ideas to unfold quietly and naturally.
As a graphic designer and creative partner, one of my strengths is really listening to clients and understanding what they’re trying to communicate. I enjoy learning about the “why” behind a brand or project, so the creative isn’t just eye-catching, it’s meaningful. I’m always looking ahead, exploring fresh ideas, and making sure each project is aligned with the client’s vision and values
Working with me is a partnership built on trust and transparency. I believe in clear communication, no hidden fees, and no fluff. I ask questions to learn what really matters to my clients, offer honest insights, and help shape their ideas into something intentional and impactful.
Generosity. My work is deeply rooted in something beyond creativity – it’s personal. During a season that we lovingly refer to as "the time of darkness", we experienced hitting rock bottom. It was the generosity, guidance, and support of others that helped us find our way back to the surface. That experience changed me – and now, it fuels everything I do.
I’m passionate about supporting individuals and organizations that help others through their own difficult seasons. That’s why I give back whenever I can – whether it’s through discounted services, creative support, or donating to causes that align with my values.
Supporting mission-driven work isn’t a side project; it’s woven into the heart of my business – because generosity helped rebuild my life, and I’m committed to passing it on.
